A five piece Americana/Rock band from Ithaca, NY. No, they're all not a bunch of teachers. Hey, the Rolling Stones aren't stones and the Beatles aren't beetles, and Snoop is not actually a dog, whatever style he may prefer. Besides, the Teachers Lounge is a place not a person, and you probably never got to hear it until now. Teachers Lounge melds country, funk, folk, pop, punk, and blues into a mellifluous concordance of kick-yer-ass rock n' roll. Chris electroshocks with the acoustic guitar. Ray tightens the grooves with his bass. Curtis battens down the beats on drums. Meadow sweetens the sour on viola, and Tom kicks those jams ..boards. The band has four lead singers, lots of catchy originals, and an old Volvo to haul it all around. There's a lot happening here...
